The environmental design of the new Vectorworks office was all-hands-on deck for our design team. One of the largest projects, but ultimately the one we may have had the most fun with, was the coloring wall for the Collaboration room — the central meeting space for company presentations and gatherings. We played with tools from our 3D modeling and BIM software, geometry relevant to the industries we serve, and incorporated an imaginative twist by having adventurous characters interact with the scene throughout. The M.C. Escher-esque impossible nature of the geometry — which allowed endless possibilities and the freedom to control the use of space — fit perfectly with the heart of our brand and our tagline, “Design without limits.”
